Get to know the photographer
Wedding, family and business portraiture
I've been into photography since I was a teenager, and trained for professional work when I turned thirty and realised I needed to stop dreaming and start doing!
I'm a member of the Royal Photographic Society, through which I had the honour of photographing an MP. My work has also featured in Stylist magazine and the Yorkshire Evening Post.
I have an eye for candid moments which are over in a flash, but mean the world to have preserved in a photo. A hug between mother and daughter, a tender kiss of a child's hand, the look on a partner's face as their other half walks down the aisle.
I am very adventurous, you can often find me (along with my husband and greyhound) hiking up a big hill somewhere. This means I am used to clambering on uneven surfaces to get the best shots! As you can see from this photo... I often have a muddy knee/thigh/bum from perching somewhere, but it's all worth it.
I'm utterly obsessed with taking photos of people. I feel lost without a camera in my hand and I'm always gutted when I see something gorgeous happening and I can't take a picture. That's what makes my job so fun, I have permission to go round snapping to my heart's content.
